He doesn't need workers he has all the rich Christian business owners just giving him money. You know those good Christians that can't afford to pay their employees more. Merry Christmas with your toys for tots.

I think u would get on jesus's nerves always measuring him to people, give me the name to ur fund raiser for poor or disabled people so we can support ur honorable cause, follower of jesus!

I'll bet with all of Joel money that he got dishonest. He's not complaining about being poor and doesn't gave a shit who is poor or disabled. He`s know Jesus.

You're exactly right, kiarabella!
Regarding our pursuit of the smaller, less-satisfying material blessings, John Piper writes: "If you don't feel strong desires for the manifestation of the glory of God, it is not because you have drunk deeply and are satisfied. It is because you have nibbled so long at the table of the world. Your soul is stuffed with small things, and there is no room for the great."

I didn't say everyone has to be poor, by no means. David is a prime example of that. But what is incorrect is to say that one is only blessed if they are healthy and rich. Job was rich, but when he lost all of his worldy possessions that did not make Him any less a child of God.

what about job, he was a rich man, king david(was he poor too?)

their physical healing occurred, but it was symbolic of spiritual healing... everything in the Bible points towards Jesus and the Cross which frees sinners from the condemnation of sin... nowhere in the Bible does it say we are all supposed to always be happy in this life... Jesus was born in a stable, He was broke and homeless, these physical things have nothing to do with the spiritually desolate state before Christ |
