There is no lens with range of 70-150mm, probably you meant 70-300mm. There isn't enough space here to write all the benefits of Olympus against Canon (besides the fact that Canon shows less noise at higher ISO settings), but I'll just point out a few: 1. SSWF (Supersonic wave filter) is Olympus's way to combat dust; proven to be the most effective, BTW. 2. "In body" Image Stabilization, which means it will help you reduce the shaking with any lens. Anyway, I hope you made a right decision.

well.. I've tried canon and Olympus cameras. But i like Olympus more for great menu UI. Canons UI are pretty... hmm.. well.. Go to a shop and test if you like Olympus or canon first.

canon does have better ISO performance at the higher settings compared to the Olympus. But i also got the e-520.

I agree ! in Japan its almost $300 more.. so .. u know what i did i bought extra 70-150 lense with olympus e-520 and still its under the budget in comparasion to canon 450D. Thanks for your response..

i really need E520 review in english.. I need to choose between canon EOS 450D and olympus E520 my present preference is canon EOS 450D or also known as kiss x2. Unless, there is something better in Olympus E520 ... i m going for canon EOS 450D.. can anyone help!
