definitly. dimebags dad was a country (artist/producer/something) im not sure. but he was pretty damn well tuned in things from country, classical, and of course his favorite...KISS lol

However, Dime grew up listening to blues/country music and always showed alot of respect for musicians of different styles. I hate how people argue about this stuff. I love metal, always have always will, but even any music i don't like i appreciate the musicianship. The sound of a banjo is sexy :)

Oh man, that sucks. Hold on to hope though. I had my favorite bass stolen and by a fluke,
GOT IT BACK FIVE YEARS LATER. I'll never part with it now, we have history. lol
Hope you get yours back too.

Thats awesome you got a Banjo! I played guitar for 6 years, then for my 20th Bday my Uncle gave me his banjo and said "you might can play all that metallica/pantera bullshit, but this instrument is better than you"... I was like...WHAT?? Earl your fukin weird... Then I realized what he meant lol. Unfortunatly 2 weeks ago it was stolen, my house was broken into when I was at the Fire Academy one day. very, very sad. since then I havent had the time to play anything at all. wish I coulda shot them
