Yes, the Sigma Official site refers to the the sensor as: Foveon X3 Direct Image Sensor (CMOS).

One question; Your video says "APS-C Sized Foveon X3 CMOS Sensor" But is it really a CMOS sensor?

it is like a dslr in a compact that also has video! hwo long untill we have dslrs giving full video functions?

Nice, thanks a lot dudes :) Got a better impression of the LCD-screen now.. I just hope Sigma will take their time to make the firmware better.. Like control the ISO up and down with the zoom if you dont want to use digital zoom :) But thanks! |
