Furthermore, though this has not been confirmed, only leaked, is that the team translating the oldest known Bible the Codex Sinaiticus, have said that there is no mention of the ascension or the resurrection that is essential to Christian belief.
It appears, as many scholars believe, that these stories were added centuries later.

The Church of England is to officially and formally apologise to Charles Darwin on the anniversary of On The Origin of Species. "The apolgy statement will read: Charles Darwin: 200 years from your birth, the Church of England owes you an apology for misunderstanding you and, by getting our first reaction wrong, encouraging others to misunderstand you still. We try to practise the old virtues of 'faith seeking understanding' and hope that makes some amends."

"The fact that Lenski refused to publish all supporting documentation is indeed a fact. There is no disputing that point."
Well, yes there is, because it's not true except in Andy Schlafly's demented little mind.
And repeating that it wasn't speciation doesn't make it true. I also notice that you've provided NO evidence of your prior claims on Drosophila and ring species.
If you're getting your information from Conservapedia, I can see why.

Lenski, quite reasonably, pointed out that the data consists mainly of the thousands upon thousands of stored cultures--and that Schlafly had no training or facilities for handling those. When asked about what he wanted to DO with the data, Schlafly simply insisted that he had a right to it.
Tazzy--other CREATIONISTS were embarassed by Schlafly's idiocy on this one. Pick some real sources.

But despite that, the E.coli is still E.coli. Not a sepeciation, just a variation within a FINITE genome.

Haha, that was awesome. If you go to conservapedia, you'll see that they rejected his experiment. It's some funny shit--clear evidence for evolution and the creationist bastards still deny it.

A little background, for those who aren't in the loop on this one: Richard Lenski completed a twenty-year experiment which demonstrated evolution through progressive mutation in E. coli. Andy Schlafly, a lawyer who fancies himself an expert on...well, everything...demanded his data. All of it. When Lenski pointed out that the data was in the paper, Schlafly admitted that he hadn't READ the paper, and then demanded all twenty years of raw data again.

The fact that you're now cutting and pasting from Conservapedia speaks volumes about your ability to evaluate sources, Tazzy. |
