I see it like this: Daisy is rich and prim and proper and NOT intimidated by Lisa, that really pisses her off since she can make pretty much everyone else bend to her will. Lisa is cool with Val and Janet (who are the only other two that aren't intimidated)and I think it's because they aren't nearly as annoying/hypocritical as Daisy, so it's OK if they aren't "under her spell".
I think the last straw was that Daisy got a cat and named it Ruby, after Lisa's self-mutilation arm cat thing.

all the buzz is about Jolie, and she deserves it, but to me Brittany Murphy gave the most troubling performance. when daisy's in the stairs while lisa tells her those dad-things, that's the acting I'll remember for a looooong time.

I hate how everyone keeps asking why Lisa is being a bitch to everyone. She's got anitsocial personality disorder (fancy name for sociopath). Look it up, do your own fucking research, it comes with the disorder.
