Ernie Ball - The Best Strings for EMG Pickups

Using my ESP M-II guitar, I show the amazing sound you get with Ernie Ball strings against active EMG pickups. Active EMG pickups, mainly on guitars with tremolo systems like Floyd Rose and Kahler, sometimes produce excessive vibration and oscillation, creating a dirtier sound. Sometimes they pick up some of the vibration coming from the tremolo springs. Ernie Ball strings reduce almost completely this excessive oscillation, creating a much cleaner sound. They maximize the heavy and powerful sound of EMG pickups. I compare the clean sound of Ernie Ball strings against the dirty sound of Dean Markley Blue Steel strings. Blue Steel strings perform really well on guitars with passive pickups such as Seymour Duncans, but not on guitars with active EMG pickps. To demonstrate my tests, I also play a B.C. Rich Wartribe guitar and a Gibson Explorer 84 Reissue guitar. Both have EMG pickups as well.
