Wow ! never thought i'd ever hear this again. Thanks so much for posting.Bought this back in 69 and played it over and over...unfortunately left it out on , or very near , the radiator and it warped beyond repair. The flip side was "come down the station" i believe ? Still sounds good today. Love those swirling keyboards. Thanks again.

thanks! I've been looking for information and albums since the first time I heard this song. The name grapefruit makes online research on it a bit tedious unfortunatly ;)

hmm.. I do have the complete .mp4's indeed.. but there seem to be a lot of clips floating around youtube which are on it.. (not all is _that_ great according to me).. although it would be a great purchase perhaps.
I'm using crude old unix for video processing, it takes me some time to render just a clip from a (kinda large) .mp4 and as you can see at the start not without errors, I'll give it a try for some nice clips though whenever I have some spare time.

afaik john lennon introduced 'grapefruit' indeed, but it's the young family (better known as cousins of ac/dc) who have credits to this afaik. Please enlighten me if I'm wrong.

actually he (lennon) only produced one song (with macartney)
kremelta (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
i think john lennon produced the album under pseudonym

sorry to hear about that (and for my late reply btw). I searched for them a long time too, especially this song since if I'm not mistaken they made different music before this. |
