Some people have fought back. It's very hard to get Scientologists punished for their crimes, because of Scientology's strong lawyer team and using their parishioners' money to drag a case on so much that it tires out the opponent's resources and energy. Also, many other people don't speak out in fear of heavy fair gaming.

The FBI investigated claims from escaped Scientologists who used to be at Gold Base in Hemet, CA and no one in there said a damn thing. They can't because they're s*** scared of this guy.

I saw the youtube video on the affidavit of Lawrence Brennan. Compelling evidence. But what puts me in doubt is why would Tom Cruise count him among one of his best friends?

Isn't it a cliche to say when a horrific criminal is exposed (such as a serial killer or child molester) "he/she seemed like such a nice person"? Every psychotic despot I have heard about was a superior: leader, orator, communicator, manipulator, salesman, etc and was expert in telling people what they wanted to hear as to have them think,believe,behave the way he/she wants.
