I just wanted to add that I'm not suggesting people with diabetes are not bright LOL just pointing out that there are positives to having aspergers :)

Thanks for sharing. My 7yr old has Aspergers. It makes or breaks a relationship, I often think that if it wasn't this challenging us, it'd be something else and probably something trivial :) I have a couple of baby pictures that have captured 'the stare' where he switched the world off for a moment and stared through me LOL. Funny though, that I often say "he has aspergers, it could be worse he could have diabetes or some other illness, at least he's healthy and bright" :)

I know autism is tough, but as long as you follow basic routines, have an enourmous patience and taking advices from pedagogic systems - you'll make it! He will make it! I work daily with kids with autism and I've also got a little brother with autism. But please listen to this: a "normal" life and evelopement for us, doesn't have to be happiness for a person with autism. The fact that they'll might miss that, is our sorrows, - not theirs. Love, Finland.

I'm not an asshole or a troll, I'm sorry for what Kevin, I don't agree with him or zzzzac1 either. Again, I'm sorry, but I didn't type that bullshit. Autistic people have the right to live as much as we do.
