are nothing but utter bull, but every now and then, in around tenfold numbers over current hollywood, theres gems which leave you in a rather disoriented state of mind. i prefer that, i prefer to pay to see a movie which causes people either to think, or just make you go "ohh wtf". im a fan of lynch because of his wtf-factor, i have to focus and actually watch the movie if i want to understand what i just saw. that said, they're not for everyone, he's a difficult man, i guess :)

braindead? whats wrong by trying to divert your own taste from mainstream? i cant speak for the rest of the fans, but for me, stuff like "hottie or nottie", the plethora of sequels, remakes and all the usual hoohah h-wood is filled with, none of it is anything i'd pay money to see. i dont give a flying fuck about intellectual aspects of anything, i just cannot sit through a 120 mins of generic overfranchised cookiecuttercrap. sure, half of art house and odd movies..

David Lynch movies suck. Only pseudo-intellectual assholes watch them and dont understand squat, the only reason you Indi assholes watch them is so you can brag to your friend that you watched his unbearable tripe and watch your posse cream their pants at the thought of another human being actually being brain dead enough to sit through Mulholland Drive or Lost Highway.
