this may sound crazy but its true, if you own a interlaced television then you can see the flashes, all you have to do is have one colour on the screen at one time; like say i was changing channels on sky, the screen would be blue. Then if you look really carefully, you can see it slightly flicker, but when you start watching something again, you cannot notice it....so yeah you can; dont beleive me?....set ure tv to interlaced and see for yourself.

yea your using component cables. there is another option too, HDMI, but thats for getting 1080pif your TV supports it

whats with all the hate for 1080i? 1080i is still a 1920 X 1080 resolution believe it or not. It seriosly just depends on your TV. on my 32" LCD 720p looks better, on my 62" DLP 1080i looks better than 720p. the only minor diffrence bet 1080i and 1080p is the framerate, and yet you cant tell the diffrence because its so fast. believe it or not 720p and 1080p gives just as much motion blur as 1080i, there is nothign wrong with 1080i its just that LCDs cant display them properly

dude but wat cables you need... cause i just used the cable that bring the 360 and put it on HDTV...... and then go to the display and put 1080i.... my tv has 1080i .....
