and GWP53 they are two totally different styles would be to say the least dumb they come from different eras so any of you people comparing STOP it's like comparing the black and white they will never be the same or better or worse they will both always be different if you can't see that and have respect for both artists then Shut The Hell Up anmd do us all a favor

though it's a great cover in which i agree i'm a huge soundgarden and Cash fan but nothing can ever beat the original the same goes with the hurt cover JC did it's one of my favorite songs but still nothing beats the original but i'm afraid stranger you're wrong

I love Johnny Cash covers, he takes the best songs and makes it his won style, really neat

why do alot of people say they would rather listen to the soundgarden version? its just stupid. evrything aside, who wrote it and everything. just listen to the two differnet versions, think of how they sound, and nothing else. the soundgarden version sounds like ass compared to johnny's. and thats a FACT

Johnny Cash did cover Rusty Cage and it is on his unearthed album. But they altered the audio a bit, it sounds like he's singing underwater.

Ok people this is a Cover of Johnny Cash's cover... making it a cover of a cover.. but i rather choose the soundgarden version over both
