A Major Documentary on Current Environmental Threats and How Jewish Teachings Can Be Applied in Responding to These Threats. Produced by Emmy-Award-winning producer, director, writer, and cinematographer Lionel Friedberg, A SACRED DUTY will take its place alongside Al Gore's AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH and Leonardo di Caprio's THE ELEVENTH HOUR as another powerful expose of the dangers of global warming. However, it goes beyond the latter two films, by showing how religious responses can make a major difference and why a shift toward plant-based diets is an essential part of efforts to reduce global climate change and other environmental threats.

Al Gore was given the Nobel Prize for a bunch of lies. Global warming in not only a man made phenomenon but is manly consequence of the great solar cycle. In his movie he presented that previous ice ages happened in the cycle of about every 13 000 years. Who's fault were they? Is it believable that people caused them all? Nonsense! Global warming, pole shift and ice age happen always when solar system passes from dark to the bright side of the galaxy. Ozone holes are not sealed neither!

Jews have a secret code according to this video, and this is a BOLD FACE LIE... If I call myself a feather, does this mean I am also the bird? Anyman anywhere can at anytime, claim he is something, he is not. Politicians do it all the time, so do every one else, who share the two evil motives. Pride of life, and lust of flesh..

We, means we. It means, "by the people, for the people and of the people". I guarantee you this, this man, has an evil motive, which aims to direct you towards his lust, whichever that be.. There is a man, who sat the record straight, because He set the record Himself.. He is the Torah, and yet He is more, than that. You see, the rest of the story, is what everyone everywhere have always hid, because of two evil motives. T he pride of life, and the lust of the flesh.

I Met Richard Schwatrtz at the Animal Rights 2008 Conference and viewed this video there- it is stunning, and unforgettable -- thank you Dr. Schwartz and your colleagues for helping to open more eyes to these world-wide crises.

I didn't say "remove the religious content" only to release an edited lighter version that can hold the attention of those that are not as cerebral or religious (a great deal of the population). To be clear, a lighter version would contain much of the original message but in synopses.

elliote, there are plenty of secularized films about the environment (Al Gore got a Nobel Prize for his), and PETA has done some on animal abuses such a "Meet your Meat." What makes this film unique is precisely the religious POV and ESPECIALLY the Jewish focus because cit is RARE to see a Jewish POV on anything in the mainstream media. Remove that and you have just another secular documentary.

Al Gore was given the Noble Prize for his documentary film *An Inconvenient Truth* *A Sacred Duty* is a much more important and urgently needed film and without question is a vastly superior, more powerful, informative, and meaningful presentation. *A Sacred Duty* proves that a *different kind* of monumental and urgently needed change needs to take place throughout the world if there will be any chance of stopping global warming. Real awareness can change the world.

It would be a shame if some didn't take this important and well produced film seriously because of it's religious content. May I suggest releasing a second "lighter" (and shorter) version for general consumption.

I agree.
