You have to purchase a complete screen. Read the details on PDAparts(dot)com and look up part number IP-2085

hey, i landed myself a broken iphone. the touchscreen and the display work perfectly. only the verry last protective glass layer is cracked. i know i can buy the front glass plate, but from the little bit i haa heard, it is ridiculously hard to seperate certain screen components. is it possible to fix this phone? or will i loose the battle to some strange chinese adhesive? great video by the way, youtube had needed one of this quality for a while.

From your description the complete screen replacement should fix this issue. The part number is IP-2085 at PDAparts(dot)com.

Hey, thanks for an instructive video!
My the upper 1G iPhone's touchscreen is barely responsive to touch, it almost doesn't work!
What do you think is the problem? Will replacing my screen with yours fix the problem?
Thanks

NO you can not just replace the digitizer. GOTO PDAparts(dot)com and look up part number IP-2085 and in the description we give details on why this can not be done.

How about if you only need to replace the screen, not the digitizer? can you take it off and apply it to the new screen? cause im thinking about getting a broken iphone and fixing it. |
