I Never Thought of That.
But Even Though It Will Be Melliniums before We Evolve to Match the Organisms Found in UFOs.
And Its Impossible to Travel Foward,i Think...

-UFO's can be are civilization from the future taking a fiel trip to the past.
-Can physics's laws prevent backwards time travel, and only permit time travel forwards?

If Time Travel WAS Possible Wed Know By Now Because Someone from the future would Have Came Back and Told us About it.

I have watched several videos on youtube and read the relevant wikipedia entries. I still have not seen a single definition of the word dimension. A cursory scifinder review of string theory in the literature makes it evident that it may take me years to sift through and find this basic piece of information. If you are opposed to defining the term I would be grateful if you could point me to the current, established string theory definition so that I do not waste my time.

haha you are ridiculous. I said just look it up so I don't have to define it for you. You can get the definition for yourself.. Don't take my word for it, find out for yourself. Don't be scared to look it up, it doesn't take that long. Just look it up and you won't have any more questions.. it's that simple.

You're telling me unequivocally that the universe is 11 dimensional and you have yet to define either universe or dimension. You just say you're using the term as the M-theorists do and avoid defining the term. But you said it's "not that complicated". So the only reason you would avoid a rigorous definition is that you don't have one. You don't know how the string theorists are using the term "dimension".
alwebste (October 11, 2008 at 4:33 am)
I'm using the same definition of a dimension that physicists use to explain the 11 dimensions.. It seems you aren't aware of what I am talking about.. the 11 dimensions that we live in explains M-theory. Look it up. It's not that complicated. There's plenty of videos on youtube that explain it very well. Wikipedia also has a great amount of information about it. As I said, time is one of the 11 dimensions in our 11-D world (not 3-D)
teenagesatanworship (October 11, 2008 at 4:09 am)
don't pretend to know what you're talking about
altonhare (October 10, 2008 at 9:07 pm)
So you're saying that these extra dimensions are truly physical. The proposed existence of these extra dimensions has nothing to do with how many numbers or coordinates are needed to uniquely specify a location in the universe. If you are using the definition of dimension I know then you are talking about the magnitude of an object in a direction mutually orthogonal to the directions of all other dimensions, but that wouldn't make sense. You must be using a different definition, what is it? |
