Once the perfect formula for mediocrity/production/artistic expression is found, you just have to copy and paste it (pretty much the repetitions we get today from almost all radiostations, MTV, hollywood and so forth). A criminal approach to arts. My sincere opinion.

All the so called "big artists" (or the great majority of them) have to obey the laws of the commercial commitment with their respective record label. This sort of absolute control, uniformization and "monotonization" of "art" is what its killing it from the inside. I refuse to buy any of these record label's crap, as their only intend is the commercial efficiency of their releases.

No doubt. In my sincere opinion, music in general is going thought a very pityful state nowadays, and most people seem not to be able to see that, probably because music was already a crappy form of commercialism when they were born, what leaves them with no other reference, whatsoever. Its true that money and music have always walked close ways, but not like today's state. The way commercialism took the artistic expressivity on its hands is criminal. There is no more spontaneous big shots today |
