Stephen Wiltshire is a British autistic savant and accomplished artist. He became famous as the best child artist in Britain and published his first bestseller book at the age of 12. In 2006 he was awarded an MBE and became the member of the British Empire. His artistic skills and extraordinary photographic memory has been challenged several times, at this time in Hong Kong. I love hong kong, I used to live there. I wish I could draw as well as him! In art class we saw the video of him drawing Rome. That one is very amazing because at the end they compare the actual city to his drawings and he made only one error.

i agree that letting him see a whole city just once and draw it in a few days does limit him. but if you go over and look at his website, he's made a LOT of pieces by himself, and all of them are equally beautiful and detailed.

I took years of art school. The ability to translate what you see to the pencil in your hand is the hardest part of learning. Drawing correct dimensions is something people practice for decades. He doesn't even seem to think about it. Look at this man. God has blessed him with vision not many have ever had.

I disagree with you. We already know a lot about how the human brain works. But there will always be mysteries about it as long as you go deeper and deeper, same as any other thing.
