Vazhaga neega needodi vazhga, SPB you are simply superb. I loved the punchiri (malayalam) in the midst of the song. Keep going on and on and on...

shribuckeye (September 27, 2008 at 4:08 am)
Absolutely correct... Apparently, this song took 16 takes just to get the guitar notes right...
shribuckeye (September 27, 2008 at 4:07 am)
the essense of the song is the same in both hindi and tamil...just singing about the sky, moon, clouds and rain, and relating them to people...

Love it. SPB is SPB...No one can match this genius!

Well I am not a tamilian, but know enough to understand that - he was praising Ilayaraja, about how they had to do so many takes to get the guitar piece - music is pure blues - reminded him of being New Orleans - and that Raja's composition is so good that there is not a single wasted note and finally - he jokes that if he starts talking about Ilayaraja he can go on for ages - growing beard like Tagore...

True- for a guy who has sung millions of songs, its defenitely hard to remember those notes without flaws.
