What the angry man should have done is register with the TPS(telephone preference screening service,which makes it illegal to contact him (all telemarketers have to use this list) and its punishable with a 5 grand fine if broken. The fact that he is ex-directory doesnt matter,his no. could have been sold by a credit card company,or from competitions etc.and not ticking the box to not be contacted,he hasnt got a leg to stand on. What he did will not stop the calls- his wife could answer next time
