no i think its on purpose not to laugh at yourself when making jokes. Jokes are funny because they can apply 2 real life and it takes away from it when someone doesnt seem serious and laughs about it. think about it like in a movie someone's crying over a dead lover and suddenly chuckles, it would ruin the moment, just like comedy

Ahhhh ha ha ha, this guy is genius. "Just to see that look on your face" ahhh ha ha ha ha. He put his own life into his comedy, that's when you know the comedy is genuine, he can laugh at himself, that's rare these days.
