We got 4th in the upstage contest for this, and won 4 of the upstage phones. For the rotating shots, we had built a home made steady cam from some plumbing pipes and weights, and then attached the camera to that, then just walked around relatively smoothly to get those nice rotating shots. When it speeds up ya that's just post editing speed and blur adjustments. The moving shots on the roads were done by having me hold the camera while being pulled in a radio flyer :P

So did you guys win anything then? By the way, how did you do all those shots looking up rotating? Did you have your camera on a track? A lot of them were really fast and they still looked pretty smooth. Did you just have someone hold the camera really low and then speed it up?
