Thanks Peter... I just got myself a 2nd hand 550EX and was wondering how to get it to diffuse just right. Watched your video and am going to go straight out to get some photo paper and a big rubber band. Shame we don't get that sponge paper here in Singapore, but I'm sure I'll make do with photo paper. Thanks for sharing the fantastic tips. My thanks from over this side of the world.

What a great bunch of advice and helpful info. Unfortunately, I do not have a flexible flash like yours. Only the built in on my D70 and a detachable which doesn't move at all. :(

Thanks for the advice. I was considering buying a diffuser. But after watching your video, I decided to make one from your instructions,,,,, I then tested it out and realized it works really great...
