Astronaut Bill McArthur working NA1SS Amateur Radio aboard the International Space Station!! The Audio is a recording of Bill McArthur received on my Yaesu FT-847 while the ISS was in Voice Repeater mode at Xmas 2005. Unfortunately I was unable to have a Contact with him myself as there was many stations calling.

Hi, I use a Collinear Antenna similar to a Watson W-300. Of course it is possible to receive the International Space Station using a Handheld Radio :-) Have a look at my other Videos to see the Rig I use! es 73 Regards, Drew

This video I made was Presented to Bill McArthur on a CD rom that also contained other Amateur Radio material (submitted by other Amateurs) from his time spent on the ISS and working Amateur Radio.
