Here I make the classic Plunge Dot Bead. I use COE 104 soft-glass - dark purple, light purple, periwinkle and clear. Under 10 minutes with seconds to spare... Whew.. Enjoy!

The theory is that graphite does not stick to the glass. If you clean the pencil tip really well it will work. If there is graphite dust on the pencil there will black marks in the bead. I would suggest buying high quality graphite or pure Tungsten rods. I was just showing how to do it without specialty tools.
