I just hate calling a store or going to a store in Miami and nobody speaks english, I was born here of latin decent but never learned spanish so when people see me, they think I speak spanish. I think that if you come here, the least you can do is speak the language.

Most of those ethnicties you mentioned come to the US for the same reason, to escape poverty and to live a better life but the Cubans are also fleeing America to escape the oppression, thousands of Cubans have been tortured killed and imprisoned by Castro, if things were so great in Cuba then why have so many Cubans fled to America to live.

NO, you are missing the point, in Cuba the people have no freedom and no rights and Cuba is a socially isolated country and the people there are not allowed to have anything to do with other countries culture unless they are working for the government, ordinary Cubans are not llowed to drink Coca Cola but the Cuban politcians are which makes it fascist and unfair.

WOW coca cola. the most addictive and unhealthy soft drink. Don't you think Cuban's know how bad is this drink. That is why they don't sell it in any regular store. I don't let my kids drink it and I live in a place that has it in every store. Please make this a better argument, don't put such a bad example. Yeah, and people form Mexico come here for what? and the argentinians? and the italians? and the isrelies? and the chinese, koreans, and polish and the Dominicans?because their economie is strugulling and the neoliberalism is a problem not the socialism. Many come illegaly, risking their lives.

Thats a lie the embargo is not to blame, go and visit any tourist shop in Cuba and you will find American products such as coca cola which an average Cuba citizen will never be able to buy and will never be allowed to buy.
