Cover? In reference to which version? Tammi recorded it in late 1965 and it was released in 1966. Stevie recorded it in the mid 1970's. What version are you suggesting that either one of the two is covering?

Nice cover version. From beautiful talented the late great Tammi Terrell who went to sing with the angels at a very young age I really like this video Some of the Motown artists that is featured in this video are no longer with us. May they all RIP.

Just think as well that they were going to release a "Cellarful of Motown! Volume 3" by UMG from Motown's vaults, but amazingly it's been abandoned! That is a real shame :-(
