Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (October 15, 1844 -- August 25, 1900) was a nineteenth-century German philosopher. He wrote critiques of religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy, and science, using a distinctive style and displaying a fondness for aphorism. Nietzsche's influence remains substantial within and beyond philosophy, notably in existentialism and postmodernism. His style, and radical questioning of the value and objectivity of truth, raise considerable problems of interpretation, generating an extensive secondary literature in both continental and analytic philosophy. Nonetheless, his key ideas include interpreting tragedy as an affirmation of life, an eternal recurrence that has fallen into numerous interpretations, and a reversal of Platonism. Nietzsche began his career as a philologist before turning to philosophy. At the age of 24 he became Professor of Classical Philology at the University of Basel, but resigned in 1879 due to health problems, which would plague him for most of his life. In 1889 he exhibited symptoms of a serious mental illness, living out his remaining years in the care of his mother and sister until his death in 1900. SOURCE: - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F...

5) The bullshit comments on Nietzsche/Germany/NAZI from mostly Jewish background reflects the „Will for Power, that these people engage in and what they themselves labelled as evil in the first place now in the realm of intellectual/books, something they try to possess solely for their own, thusas I saidengage in exactly what N. described as will for power, now in their version Germany evil/thus we right! -> Die grössten Hasser der Geschichte waren die Strumpfwirker des Geistes

4) You might want to check the link to Max Stirner on my Channel Or the ending of my on of my videos Jetzt bin ich leicht, jetzt fliege ich jetzt sehe ich mich unter mir jetzt tanzt ein Gott durch mich (god in the context of the greek idols, not the monotheistic tradition, though. -> which reflects Nietzsches freies furchtloses Schweben, 2,55 Menschliches Allzumenschliches )

3) In the context of the whole video you might want to think of the following overcoming even it. As I said, he himself did that constantly also here in his middle phase (his Morgenröthe Fröhliche Wissenschaft phase, his phase of a phenomenologist there were others...): - Individuum est inaffabile - Dividuum der Mensch verhält sich immer zu sich selbst - „Jeder ist der Andere und Keiner er selbst (Heidegger 128)
Sioux2 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
2) -> at this point you can bet your ass that Nietzsche himself would have tried to overcome that again sooner or later, because he would have felt it was an A PRIORI in and of itself. So after you have climbed that level (of that statement) and enjoyed it for a while a Nietzsche would have worked on that again, trying to overcome even that (higher level)! Anyway, just wanted to add that!

1) I felt you were sincere enough to be told sincere words in turn. By a guy, that takes Nietzsche deeper and more seriously thus might know my stuff about this genius. (TO GENERATE A GENIUS being the only one or one of the few justifications for life/existence according to Nietzsche, by the way): You said at 5:45: we just do it and we just do it because of the kind of creatures we are

yogumy You have no idea what your talking about when it come the Nietzche. Nietzche was around during Darwins time so the understanding of moleculer structures was being developed also it was his sister that great the notion that he hate jews and history has corrected this error. I understand if your hearing Nietzche for the first time its difficult to comprehend him but don't be foolish and make assumtions as if you know

its ok i dont mean nietzsche was a nazi or a bad guy i just think that he was wrong ,yes of course he was very intelligent and sharpe intelect but a theory like free will is a not valid theory for a humanity which in less than a second is ready to kill any one for his personal benefit.what ever nietzsche hate antisemites it is well known that hitler based his politics on nietzsches theory.

Unless it was between a person of faith and one that realized god as a fable of man.
melvinanna (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
nietzsche was known to have hated anti-semites as he fired one of his publishers, and greatly disliked his anti-semetic brother-in-law. Nietzsche says that yes, some humans are better than others, but that's only because they have come to terms with "eternal recurrence," and have overcome their abyssmal existence through their own passions. He doesn't say that one human is distinctly better than another, because of ethnic or religious belief.
