The Mantis is the top of the food chain in the insect world..... atleast in my area of the world.
They are amazing creatures that have so many advandtages.... much like spiders, octopus, squid, etc etc....

lol i'm lovin the epic music playing in the background. i was also surprised the hornet managed to kill the mantis, but i think you're right that it was probably fatigued, not to mention an awkward position.
