He has certainly seen better days. The flickering lights in the first "mist" cave have been out for years, and many other things inside are in rough shape or just broken. This video in 1999 still has most everything intact (just a few years after opening).
Notice all the trees outside -- those were cut down a few years after opening and you can now see the green show building easier.

It's not really supposed to be scary, maybe for little kids. I guess it's supposed to be an adventure.

i went there once and it was fucking hot so we decided to go on it becuase it was underground. if i was to rate it out of a 10 i'd give it a 6 |
