Well this car wasnt made for that type of work. Battery technology gets better and better every year. I bet you very soon the charge time will be below 10 mins.

A friend of mine in the Napa Valley has a Toyota RAV4 EV (All Electric 100%) Made stock as an All electric, not hybrid. It has less range than the Tesla and the Rav4 only goes 80 mph. But he still drives this thing all over the place. From Napa to Sacramento and back all the time. And it keeps up with the fast traffick on Hwy, 80 just fine. The Tesla Roadster is going to work just fine. All you naysayers are as dumb as a bag of hammers.

The G-wiz is a horrible car and has as much in common with the tesla as a donkey and a horse. Plus tables are pretty dangerous (I made a funny).

Why don't you think of them getting electricity from renewable source like solar?
has417 (July 1, 2008 at 5:56 am)
True but when that gas isn't being used for the car itself we use less fuel, plus there is alternative ways to get electricity that should be widely available by the time electric would take over. Sun, Water,Wind, etc. With new technologies arising there should also be advancements in battery technology and faster ways of charging. FYI average Americans only drive 23 miles a day which is more than enough because as said before now electric cars have a range of 60-200 miles.

not to mention that electricity is generated by burning fuel ._. Nice car, cheaper, low emissions, but it's just sucking up fuel indirectly :\

Who said anything about solar panels? That isn't important go to the site it is 3.5 five hours. It is also 200 miles per charge (in fact more than that) even if it weren't do you drive 150 miles in a day? No.
