Samaritan House, of Jefferson City, Tennessee is a place where staff and volunteers put into practice the lesson of the Good Samaritan. As Jesus taught us to go and be good neighbors to those in need, Samaritan House, a ministry of Carson-Newman College's Appalachian Outreach, shares housing, counseling, social services and encouragement with people who are in desperate situations. This is a very nice video. We have several housing units, more like transitional homes. I like the idea you had about make overs. It is something we might look into to aid in raising the self-esteem of our female clients. Thanks for the idea. Take care.
