42 Annual Academy in 1970. Yes, Cary is the perfect gentlemen, is Amazing, is the best actor of the history of cinema, a leading man, an icon of the 20th century. And yes, only a superstar like Frank Sinatra can deliver a award to another superstar as Cary Grant.

You'll never see a better example of comic timing in cinema than his turn in 'Operation Petticoat'..as good,yes (Chaplin,Tati et al)but not better. Check it out if you haven't seen it, and see if you can spot the scene I'm talking about. Re: the gay rumours - so what?
