it's true... if a right handed dude played a lefty upside down it would produce the same awesome sound...

Freddie shows you how to play the blues.

The first close up of Fred Below Ive seen! William Clark, who I met in early 90s n Chattanooga told me he had known Freddie. Clarke's drummer loved & copied Fred best as he could Frank Beard (ZZ Top) has a direct connection to Freddie as well. Mr. Clarke also mentioned Sam Lay as being one of the greatest blues drummers. I got a copy of Smoke Stack Lightning (Howling Wolf) and I think Fred Below is on it. Originally, jazz drummer from Chicago.

Ya,Lefty, playing a right handed archtop,w/ the strings still righty.
I'm a lefty,& it's hard to find those old axes lefty.
So,I too will play em' upside down. The advantage is, by strumming down, you pick up an interesting sound.
No way i could even a candle next to this guy.
He was Great!!!
Had a stroke in 94'
Don't play no more.
God bless him @ 74'
Holy crap,that rhymes!!
