unfortunately there are no more hanghangs (pl. of hang) sold until at least the end of 2009 and it´s not clear if the hang) will be produced again.

sorry that info is completely false, just another internet rumor. It is and was very important to Sabina Schärer and Felix Rohner (the Hangmakers) to give every potential hang buyer the equal chance to obtain their hang, it just took some time till you got the invitation to pick it up since there was and are 10x more people requesting a hang than can be produced.

The hung drum is only made by a couple of dudes who live in Bern, Switzerland. They cost about US$700, but the guys interview all the potential buyers. They won't give you one if you're "not worthy".
