About $20-30K US for the real plane... a lot less for the R/C used in the video! Like any airplane, it can glide when the engine quits.

can someone tell how much this EXACT type microlite would cost....and also, is the upkeep on the engine hard, and lastly- this particular model...could it glide down safely if the engine shutdown, I want one but I want one that could come down in a glide instead of dropping like a rock out of the sky

The real X-Air can take some punishment, but I'm sure it wouldn't fare too well if you tried those manoevres in one! Cool vid nonetheless!
