It's actually really impressive considering that you don't have to use a RAM preview to see your effects (as opposed to using After Effects, which I use constantly). No need for Mac vs PC hostility, the clip is just a sample, so yeah there are library behaviors (all of which can be tweaked however you see fit). Anyway, it's just software, no reason to get hot and bothered over it.
