clean and clear has a cream ingredient and it is not ideal for makeup removal because cream cleansers are thicker than foamy cleansers... also, cleansers that foam up contain detergent which are better cleansers, however, it can over dry sensitive skin. cream cleansers are better for morning face washes and dry skin... not for removing makeup. i know this as im an esthitician & makeup artist.
