Here is a short demo on aligning the M2 35 mm lens adapter to the Panasonic AG-HVX-200P. There is vertical and horizontal alignment and each are critical for a proper fit. If the fit is not exact, you can damage the threads on the lenses. http://www.redrockmicro.com/ Forum at: http://www.redrockmicro.com/fo...

Hey man whats up.... I have the same camera as you. And I am going to get this whole Redrock set up. I have an old Nikon auto Vivitar wide-angle 35mm 1:2.8 lens. I was just wondering if you knew if that would work with this apparatus? Because I really don't want to drop an extra 600 on a lense unless I have to. Also what bundle pack do you have there? Thank you :)

35mm film is shot on 35mm film cameras; video is shot on video cameras. This does not let you put film in a video camera. What is tries to do is recreate the selective depth of field commonly seen in film cameras, like 16mm and 35mm. The adapter lets that SDOF record in the video format. It still is NOT 35mm FILM. Repeat, it is NOT FILM! You want the 35mm film look, use 35mm FILM! As for what package to get, that's a question to ask on red rock's forum. See description for link.

I like EVS on the west coast and B and H in Manhattan. Be careful of gray market dealers.
