This video is just amazing. Note when Spock hears Kirk. He adjusts his uniform, gets up and faces Kirk in a professional way, even knowing that he is about to collapse and die.
I cannot think of any scene in the whole Star Trek franchise that was half as powerful as this scene in particular. Outstanding job Mr. Nimoy.

Besides, Spock only had four minutes to get main power back on line so there wouldnt have been time to get down to enginering, put on a radiation suit and make the nessaery repairs.

Data's Death in nemisis wasn't as near as emotional as Spocks death. Nor was it as dramatic.
