Well it's too late for this lady to get a high paying job but she can stop the cycle if she teaches her children to value education. No one is going to pay you if you don't have a HS degree or if you don't have any. Community college are almost free here in California.

yeah people dont realize is that a reason there is a minimum wage. is bc it gives people something to strive for...90% of people working in those jobs are LAZY... so even if they were paid 100 an hour they would still be LAZY

if you dont like minimum wage get the fuck off your ass and get a real JOB... dont work at walmart...or instead of just working at walmart try and improve yourself... I used to work shit jobs for minimum wage myself and I will tell you most of the people working at those jobs are LAZY! period... even if you paid them $20 an hour they would still be LAZY... some people are just lazy and never amount to nothing. Stop whining get off your ass and get a career not a job... work 2 jobs if you have 2

My point is: The U.S. knows that it's inhumane to let people work for only 6 dollars an hour. We are talking about the United States of America, here! Why do you allow this? Do the people control the government, or does the government control the people?

Where I live, the minimum wage is 11 dollars an hour if you are under the age of 18. I'm 19, and worked for 3 months on the minimum wage of 20 dollars an hour, and I can support myself for not only those 3 months, but two months in addition. I don't worry about money. I even halfway support my sister, and I pay for our education. And where do I live? In one of the worlds most expensive countries, where the price of gas is more than 13 dollars per gallon, and we don't even complain much about it.

SHAME AMERICA. SHAME!!!! How can you accept service from others and not see that they are paid properly????

I wasn't born in this country so ALL Americans that were born here should have a better start then me right??? So you would think. Go ahead and raise the minimum wage you'll regret it later and you'll want even more cause then everything else will go up.

My goal is $1000 an hour fulltime, anything less is considered to me to be failure. this woman made 2 mistakes: having too many kids thinking minimum wage is a career

Yeah that's pretty ridiculous.
