Well I will probably end up using serato. I use virtualdj timecodes (like serato) now and i'm starting to get more into it, but I never liked vdj for timecodes all the way because to me it was a little behind sorta say. I changed the settings to real so its alot real now.

I use Cds...or u could get an external hardrive. Remember. You can store music on data CD's ...and if you want a high quality version of the songs just rip what u need back to your computer and burn a regular audio cd...You are right tho...all the cd burnign is a pain in the ass...but i dont really know if there is a way around that.

That's the only downside to me. I don't like burning cds takes alot of time and cds, and I don't have a good system of storing and labeling burnt cds. I need to ask other 800 users what they use. What do you use? I think maybe the 1000s can use the sd card to store songs...

Yeah thats all good but make sure ur not playing mp3s on a loud sound system mp3/data cd = low quality...but fun for messing around at home. ;)
