if you want all the bells and whistles, then yes, by all mean go buy an awesome RIG, but its not always necessary, you can play HL2 at 60 (with some stuff in the background) easy for $600, and not really a good pc to run alot of games... check steam,tons of lowspecgames
and Consoles dont get mods... unless they are done by the developer, mods are one of the bets parts of pc gaming

wow... a 600 dollar pc can run crysis:warhead on high, a 600 dollar ps3 would have to run it on medium to keep a consistent framerate if the resolution is at 1080i,pc doesnt
PC for FPS is much better... the only good part is like BF:BC, when you cap a point in a tank its nice to just hold down the stick in stead of increasing the DPIbut then again you can just set a second boton to turn the turret and hold it until you see something and take over with the mouse.
im not saying consoles suck

Better framerate: wrong. You need a really good computer to play a lot of games.
Console gamers with short attention spans: wrong. Whenever I try to explain something about a console game to a fellow player, they will listen and understand, but I've noticed that PC gamers will just say "fuck it, I'm looking it up."

erm... no pc gamers dont want to spend gobs of money to use the internet... and because pc gets better framerates, and because FPS games are much much easier to aim, shoot, and play(cept controllers), and RTS cant be played well on control pads, cept the halo wars game controls look easy enough :) and pc gamers are pacient
console gamers have short attention spans...

PC doesn't sell well because of games. PC games sell well because PC users don't want to buy a game console. |
