If you know how to make a MIDI file into a ringtone, email me (at my musanim address) and I'll send you a MIDI file for this.

That was actually beautiful. I loved it that you used counterpoint in a modern piece. Calabus Dabus, music doesn't need to be pretty to be beautiful. Plus, show me a little kid that can do that and I'll call him a genius for his age.

In a way, that's what I was aiming for. It's a piece in which the rules of counterpoint were kept constant, but the roles of consonance and dissonance were reversed. So, it's structurally very ordered, but the sonorities are as harsh as they possibly could be (given how few notes there are).

It is utter powetry. Marvelous! To make the eyes move while considering what the ears hear is genius! Each person gets unique information from memory and sees this another way. I wish I would frame this moving pieces of art and place them in my home. |
