i totally agree with the whole american remake thing. sucks like hell ]: and yeah the grudge, i LOLed at the movie; it was horrible. the japanese one was sooo much better.

This Movie is by far the best Horror movie I saw and I saw alot this one next to Alone is the best ever.

i think it is stupid, that the americans remake all the great asian horror movies they just replace some of the actors with sarah michelle gellar or shit like this! i liked the ring oder the grudge much more in the original version, but shutter is my absolute favourite of them all! in the end when its explained, where the ghost was hiding all the time i nearly wet my pants :-D damn scary!!!

Awesome Asian horror film. The original Shutter is loaded with dread, tension and atmosphere. The impending doom of the main character is very dreadful. The ending of the film is quite shocking; especially if you pay attention to the subtle signs during the movie. The guys that directed this film made another one after it called "Alone" about Siamese twins. It is also very good.
