this was so cool..very much needed when everything around us seems to be falling apart. meditation should be a part of our daily regimen at the very least ten minutes a day..
thank you for sharing this beautiful video, it definitely took me away for the length of time i watched it.

Really superb Icarus3ak. After I meditate for just 5 minutes just looking at my Lord Ganesh....I feel an extra energy and I got really refreshed :)
Thanks a lot for posting it....adding the video to My Favourites so I can meditate daily.
Best Regards,
Abhilash MS

At first I thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me - "is Ganesh staring at me? Oh shit, its eyes! What's happening to its eyes!?", then "is it zooming in? It's just a picture, how can it be zooming in?"
Then I saw the glowing orbs.
It's a very subtle meditation video (at first anyway - and probably only because I decided to sit still and stare at a fixed point on Ganesh's head, ignoring everything else). Love it.

This has an amazing effect on my sense of balance. I had an easy time letting go. Green is a color that helps balance the mind. Colors like blue red black, orange and white can become overwhelming. The green in this video and the calm harmless waves that reach my inner mind feel that. I used to do this when I was young to help deal with extreme chronic pain. I erased the pain. It is a sound that I hold sacred for that reason.

I learnt many attributes of Ganesh from a friend of mine who practices Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University teachings. According to him, one of the unique features of this deity is that he is shown riding a mouse as his vehicle. Kinda funny eh? The huge image of Ganesh represent our Character and the mouse represent our physical existence. It means we must pay more attention to our character than our body proportionately. Ganesh represent the soul mouse the body (souls vehicle). |
