I was listening to Monie Love's radio show a couple of years ago. Can u believe Young Jeezy asked Monie Love "What do you know about Hip Hop"? I'm fairly young myself, but I have a problem with so called artists today who don't know the history of this music and don't respect the ones that paved the way for them. Somebody has to ask today's artist "What do you know about Hip Hop"?

Agreed brother. ...and let's not even start with the current crop of hip hop pretenders that prefer leveraging fame to sell denim and hats to teens. Tribe, De La, and the JBs had something to say and it was inspirational, funky and smart. Peace.
