Glad to see that it is possible to beat this thing without wasting my antarctic winds. I don't know it it's considered (on my part.) wasting them since I can always steal more from the fish outside of the dwarf caves on the overworld.

HC, it is because your Luneth has on FlameMail, that when you enter lava, you weren't burned....but since no one has on a fire helmet, when you went into the lava waterfall, you took damage.

Yeah, lol, at least the white mage can take a few hits with that kind of hp growth, can't go wrong with that for a healer.

I always have close battles with this boss. Last time he KOed everyone but my thief who had about 100 hp left. Luckily I used my south winds just in time to kill him. Next time I'll level grind, it's worth it. At least the developers give you some very useful jobs for beating him.
