That's a great idea. We struggled with how much information to show in this video, but we're considering making a new version. If we do, we'll definitely include the lumens per watt metric.

Anyway, the efficiency in terms of lumens per watt for the bulbs shown here, the 60 watt incandescent comes out to be about 13.52 lumens/watt (850 lumens divided by 62.87) but I'll round it off to 14. The Compact Fluorescent will give you about 57 lumens/watt and finally, the LED bulb comes out to be about 20 lumens/watt. That will make the Compact Fluorescent more efficient than the LED bulb shown.

Good video but if you really want to talk about efficiency, you should also explain how efficient each lamp is in producing light using "lumens per watt" I'll let look up that term by yourself but if you divide the average lumens of the light source by the wattage consumed, you should get an average lumens per watt. For a more accurate lumens measurement, you'll need an intergrating sphere and a light meter.
