IMO today's metal can't compare to 80's hard rock but 70's hard rock beats the shit out of the 80's! also, within ten years people will be saying "today's music sucks compared to 00's". IMO

I saw them live together with def Leppard a couple of months ago. I think David is getting old and can't sing that good anymore (at least live)... He could barely be heard over the music, although i think he did his best to keep up...

The peak of metal IMO. The perfect example of why 80's hard rock is the best era in hard rock! Today's metal doesn't anywhere near compare!!! Long live Whitesnake and 80's metal!!
